In a formal wedding, the fabrics are quite light and the chapel-length train is preferred with it. Veil too, are little shorter than those in elaborate weddings.

In a semi-formal wedding, the wedding gowns have light design and embroidery done on it. Long trains aren’t a necessity with these gowns. Train and veil are very short in such gowns. In an informal wedding, the wedding gowns are exemplified with their short lengths. Veil and train aren’t a part of an informal gown. Brides instead prefer wearing hats made out of the gown’s fabric itself. These can be embellished with flowers, beads and laces.
